A better way to find performance insights

Analyzing results and gaining insights for direction can be a challenge, especially when you’re not sure what to look for, or when you are pressed for time. To give a supporting hand we have introduced Insights with AI, as part of our new AI package.

In short, it is your super smart assistant when analyzing your performance reports, helping with actions like:

  • Explain what the KPIs in this report mean
  • Break down the numbers from last year Q4 further
  • Which messages under- or overperformed last year?

A pretty amazing helper for the “stress-out” marketer in need, if you ask us!

Improvements to the upsell algorithm

Over the summer we have been tweaking and running A/B tests on the Upsell recommendation to get it to perform even better on selling additional products on your product pages.

And we think the overall results are amazing:

  • 2% increase in revenue

And looking specifically at the upsell performance, the numbers are even more amazing:

  • 7.08% increase in upsell revenue

These improvements are live on all customer sites, and we are expecting these amazing results to be reflected in your sales figures in the months to come!

Range filters in facets

We are introducing range filters on custom attributes that are based on numbers. Ranges make it super easy for a shopper to quickly filter down products to fit within what they are looking for, maybe they have a maximum price they are willing to spend or are looking for a sofa that has a specific size.

For the longest time, we have supported this on defined attributes that we know are numerical (like price) but now you can set it up also on custom attributes that you add (as long as it is numerical, of course;-))

Secondary search on a landing page

The Voyado search is super powerful, and we have extended how you can make use of it on landing pages as a secondary  page-specific search.

This can be useful on category pages, or landing pages where you don’t have facets of filters that match all the things a shopper may want to filter on, but where the product intelligence can filter for the user – for instance, find all the t-shirts with a print.

A secondary search can help shoppers in need – but note that it is not recommended on pages used for an editorial campaign, where a lot of products are pinned or campaign slices have been added to promote the latest line. Since the user experience in those cases can become sub-optimal, and who would want that?

New insight views in Power BI

Improvements to the Voyado Engage – Shopify integration

You can now identify existing customers, or create new contacts in Voyado, by capturing the shopper’s email during Shopify checkout – even if a shopper has not completed the transaction. This allows you to identify and act on their abandoned browses or cart activity if they don’t finalize the checkout.

For new contacts, it is recommended to not send marketing emails before they have consent to the communication.

Shopify changes to Refund and Returns

Shopify recently implemented updates to their returns process, affecting how returns and refunds can be managed across all store levels. This has allowed for better control also in Engage, making it easier to verify that a refund is directly connected to a return.

All you need to do to access this is to log in to the Voyado Engage app in the Shopify store and update the data access to allow Returns.

Version 3 of Voyado Engage API

We have released a new version of our API, version 3. With it the improved support for order management mentioned in June is included.

If you are just getting started with your onboarding project to Voyado and are building your own custom integration, we recommend the latest version.

If you are an existing customer up and running with integrations you do not need to do anything, version 2 is still supported.
