New Admin API version: Faster, smarter and simply better imports

We’re introducing a new version of the Admin API, packed with significant enhancements to improve the product feed experience on our platform. At the centre of the change is a comprehensive redesign of the data feed format, resulting in significant improvements to import and export endpoints. Additionally, we’re introducing new endpoints to facilitate explicit market configurations on the Elevate server. Here’s a high-level overview of the changes:

  • A redesigned data modelling that reduces data redundancy and enables shared data across markets and locales
  • A modernized format supporting JSON lines
  • More granular controls for products, variants, content, translations, product groups and images
  • New predefined attributes for smoother data management
  • More flexible configuration and support of market and locales

A full list of features and changes are listed in the API documentation.

For existing customers, the current version of API (Version 3) will continue to be the default version for now. Think of this as a friendly heads up! We’ll inform all customers later on when Version 3 moves into long-term active support.

Last year, we announced On-site messaging as a new part of the Voyado family. Today, we are happy to share that the move is almost complete, and On-site messaging can easily be accessed directly through the Voyado Engage UI. It’s not just a shortcut—the entire interface has been refreshed to align with the rest of the platform.

Introducing improved order understanding

We’re introducing better order understanding, allowing you to consider orders in progress in all targeted marketing communication. This will enable you to communicate about orders in progress especially suited if you have customers with long-running orders. There are several use cases for segmenting customers who have ordered a product, but where the transaction is not yet complete.

Firstly, if you’re running campaigns to promote products that are currently being processed in orders, it’s important to exclude them to prevent dissatisfaction among customers.

Secondly, it allows you to target customers with relevant information during the order delivery process, making it suitable for upselling related products or other product-related communication.

Thirdly, by storing all order updates, customer service can respond more quickly to simpler order inquiries.
