Online product recommendations can adapt to in-store purchases

We are happy to announce that product recommendations in Voyado Elevate can now adapt based on offline purchases! This is enabled by customer behavior data flowing from Voyado Engage to Voyado Elevate, creating better and more personal experiences across journeys.

This means that when a shopper views a product online, then goes to one of your stores and buys it, you no longer risk that same product being recommended to them again. But also that the purchase will impact what get recommended to the shopper as a personalized product recommendation. And it applies both onsite and in email recommendations.

What are some of the use case benefits of this:

  • Trigger journeys with connected recommendations (in beta) that feel personal and local
  • Adapt online experiences to reflect what already happened offline

The result is customer journeys that are unified both offline and online, convert through relevance, adapt to local context, and keep loyal customers meaningfully engaged across every touchpoint.

Connected session health

We’ve added a new data point to the Integration Health dashboard: the number of sessions and returning sessions identified as connected between Engage and Elevate.

It gives you insights into shoppers and visitors recognized across products—and how that connection shows up in actual sessions. We’ll keep refining it over time, but we wanted to share the visibility already available today.

Loyalty just a tap away

Introducing Digital wallet, a great way to enable members can tap their phone to identify in-store, instantly see rewards and points, and receive real-time updates on their phone. It’s a seamless way to connect online and offline touchpoints—helping you recognize more shoppers, gain richer insights, and keep engagement friction-free.

Digital wallets help retailers:

  • Identify more customers in-store, with frictionless, tap-and-go identification.
  • Make loyalty visible when it matters, directly in Apple and Google Wallet.
  • Engage customers through location-based messages, sales alerts, or event invitations through wallet pass notifications.

Design, test, and analyze, at scale

We’re continuously enhancing our email design studio to help you move faster and get more from every campaign. As part of this, you can now seamlessly move team modules between Engage environments, making it easy to reuse designs across different setups. Build once, reuse everywhere, and maintain consistent brand experiences while reducing duplicate work and accelerating collaboration.

We’ve also introduced A/B testing directly within design studio, so you can create and test two variants in the same message. Experiment with subject lines, layouts, content, and calls to action, then optimize performance based on real data.

BI export for send-outs in the design studio is now also available. With structured data available for marketing groups, send-outs, and individual emails, you can follow performance in your BI environment and gain deeper insights across campaigns and teams.

All these enhancements result in a seamless workflow where you can design, test, and analyze in one seamless flow, driving faster execution, smarter decisions, and stronger email performance at scale.

Act instantly on consent changes

You can now automatically trigger journeys the moment a contact updates their opt-in or opt-out status. Engage responds in real time, so you can send confirmations, start onboarding flows, or stop communication immediately when preferences change.

This enables compliant, seamless consent handling directly within your automation flows — reducing manual work, removing reliance on external integrations, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects their latest preferences.

Shopify + Engage integration updatesAutomated birthday campaigns

You can now collect customer birthdays via Shopify and sync them automatically to Voyado Engage. Birthday data is stored as a Shopify customer metafield and can be used with the Contacts birthday trigger to send timely birthday messages, offers, or rewards.

Improved handling of high webhook traffic

The integration now includes enhanced webhook flood detection to ensure stable syncing during high activity, such as bulk operations in Shopify. Flood detection has been extended beyond Contacts and Orders to also cover Order fulfillments, Refunds, and Inventory updates—reducing the risk of delays or failed updates.

Admin V3 is heading toward End of life – time to plan your next step

Here is a friendly reminder that Admin V3 is in active long-term support, and is scheduled to reach end of life in approximately six months.

All new improvements and capabilities are in Admin V4 (Current version)—and that’s where we’d love for you to be.

Introducing new API URL

A new API domain for all Elevate endpoints is being introduced.

The new API URL <cluster-id>.elevate-api.cloud is effective immediately.
The old API URL <cluster-id>.esales.apptus.cloud will now be on active LTS (long-term support) and will follow our standard version cadence for reaching EOL (end-of-life).

Action required: Please ensure that all your integrations are updated to point to the new domain for all calls to Elevate endpoints. Read more in the Voyado Elevate API documentation
